The EmployAbility Program Course Overview

Living with physical disability and the complexities surrounding it, can make looking for work an overwhelming experience.

The EmployAbility program has been developed, and is delivered by, people with lived experience of physical disability. They understand that everybody’s journey will be different and there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to understanding the complexities of disability and looking for work.

The EmployAbility program consists of online job skill training, which covers a range of topics specific to people with physical disability, that will help develop your knowledge, skills and confidence when looking for work.

Once your registration has been confirmed, you’lll be assigned an Employment Coach who will guide and support you through the training program and throughout your employment journey. With the successful completion of the EmployAbility program, your Employment Coach will then work with you to put what you’ve learnt into action. This will include helping you through the job application and interview process, getting the job and post-employment follow up, to make sure that you are happy in your new role.

If you’d like more information about the EmployAbility program, or to see if you are eligible – complete our expression of interest form today and one of our friendly team will be in touch with you soon.
