Empowering you with Skill-Focused Job Support

EmployAbility is not just an employment service, assisting you to find a job. The EmployAbility program is an online job skills training program, specifically developed for people with physical disability who might need a bit more support on their journey to work.

You will be supported by an Employment Coach who has lived experience of physical disability, through every stage of the online training program. They will help you improve your job search skills and applications, as well as support you once you find work

The great thing about the program is that it’s free and is completed online from the comfort of your home, anywhere in Australia.

How it works

1. Register your interest

Complete the form below by clicking on the 'Sign Up' button to register your interested in joining our program.

2. Get the right support

We’ll match you with the right EmployAbility Employment Coach with lived Experience of disability.

3. Learn practical & life changing skills

Our training will help you build not only your job search skills, but also develop your confidence to support your job search journey.

4. Transition to work

Once you have completed our course and are ready to find your new role, we will let our wonderful Building Employer Confidence (BEC) team know. They work with organisations right across Australia and are always on the lookout for strong candidates to fill roles.

These roles are often not advertised so it's great to work with our team who already have a close connection to the hiring organisation.

5. Thrive with our Post Placement support

Post Placement refers to the service received after a candidate has been placed into a new role.
Our team’s lived experience had taught us that this service was critical to a successful arrangement for people with disabilities, involving ongoing assistance for up to 6 months after commencement of the new role.

After completing our program our support continues. We can help you take that next brave step in securing employment that's right for your skills and ability. Working with our disability friendly organisational partners, we facilitate the employment and any potential workplace adjustments.

This comprehensive support system is designed to help individuals with disabilities thrive in their new roles and maintain long-term employment.

From the moment our candidates are placed in their dream roles, out comes the clipboard and magnifying glasses. We work with all parties to ensure all concerns that may arise in the workplace are addressed then solved. Any training, any coaching and mentor opportunities are offered, and of course, any workplace modifications/adjustments are made.

But most importantly, we ensure mental health is the top priority.
