Snapshot of our impact results for Jan-June 2024

EmployAbility makes an Impact

The team at EmployAbility are excited to share highlights of the recent survey on our Employment program. Participants were asked to complete a survey prior to undertaking the program, and again once they had finished.

Result highlights:

  • 95% of people say they now know how to find suitable jobs, compared to 41% at the start of the program.
  • At the start of the program, only 55% knew how to prepare for and handle an interview. After the completion of the program, 98% felt completely confident about the process.
  • 84% of people now know what government and non government supports are available to them as job seekers, compared to 20% in the beginning.
  • 97% of participants now know their rights as a person with disability, compared to 33% in the beginning.

Congratulations to our team and more importantly, to the candidates, of whom, we are proud to say, 82% now feel they are completely confident to apply for a job!
