Welcome to EmployAbility: Amanda Loughman

EmployAbility is pleased to welcome Amanda Loughman to the team as a Disability Inclusion Ambassador.

Amanda brings extensive experience across the disability, youth, health, and welfare sectors, alongside a strong commitment to building inclusive and accessible workplaces. In her role at EmployAbility, Amanda delivers workshops and develops content to support new and existing disability confident employers, shares her lived experience of disability, and works closely with the broader disability community to support access to the mainstream workforce.

Having grown up with a disability, Amanda’s lived experience has been instrumental in shaping her into the confident, determined, and empathetic professional she is today. It has also informed her belief that there is no single “right” way of doing things; what matters most is achieving meaningful outcomes through flexible, inclusive approaches that recognise individual strengths.

Amanda has worked across both disability specific and mainstream health and welfare environments, experiences that have reinforced her belief that everyone is ultimately striving for the same thing: a sense of belonging. She is passionate about working collaboratively with employers and communities to create workplaces where inclusion is embedded, productivity thrives, and people feel valued for who they are.

Through her work at EmployAbility, Amanda is proud to support employers on their inclusion journey and to contribute to positive, lasting change for people with disability in the workforce.
