Meet Carly

Meet Carly

At EmployAbility, we are so very lucky to have a genuinely terrific team. Recently, we were joined by Carly Macleay who has an energy of joy so infectious, she makes the office brighter and lighter but just being in it!

Carly has been an occupational therapist since 2009. She found a passion early in her career for neurological rehabilitation particularly working with people following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Carly has worked in a specialist brain injury unit and community settings in occupational therapy, case manager, clinical operations and clinical lead roles.

Most recently Carly founded her own private practice ‘Severe Injury Rehab’ providing outreach OT services in the community for people adjusting to their catastrophic injuries. She comes to us as a part time TBI program Manager, working closely with our TBI Team, Clint and Samantha.

She brings her TBI experience guiding our participants to increase confidence, practical skills and pre-work readiness for people following brain injury wishing to return to avocational or vocational roles.

When Carly is not working, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and two mini humans, op shopping, planning the next camping adventure or eating Japanese food!!
