Our client is seeking a highly motivated People Advisor to provide administrative HR support to the business in all areas of Human Resources to support management and employees.

This position is the first point of contact for all general HR matters, and will also be flexible to assist with payrol activities (full training provided).

Location: CBD Office Melbourne. Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variety of administrative support to the HR function.
  • Take responsibility for resolving inquiries about HR policies and procedures through various communication channels such as phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist employees and managers in utilising self-service features in Workday and other systems to encourage technology adoption.
  • Support users with process-related queries and basic troubleshooting.
  • Encourage the use of the OnePortal and HR SharePoint by offering guidance on HR knowledge content (e.g., global and local HR policies) and Workday How-To guides.
  • Maintain HR data quality and carry out transactions in Workday and other HR applications.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and functional roles to offer administrative support for queries and annual cyclical processes as needed.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation (e.g., drafting letters such as level assessments and hourly rate changes).
  • Organise and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prioritise stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, and timeliness in all tasks.

Key Qualifications & Attributes: 

  • Basic payroll support as required Knowledge and skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Time management skills

Additional:

  • Education/Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years HR experience in a People Advisory role.
  • Workday experience is preferred but not essential.
