Fostering Employability and Inclusion
At our core, we believe in creating a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the workplace.
We are EmployAbility
Proudly independent nationwide charity.
We exist to empower people with Physical Disabilities or ABI conditions and Organisations to thrive together.
EmployAbility offers training, support and recruitment services for employers committed to becoming disability-inclusive, whilst providing mentorship and assistance for job candidates living with physical disability to help them land their dream role.
We have the unique ability to offer you genuine expertise in Lived Experience with over 62% of our team members having a disability themselves.
Our services include:
- Employee Programs
- Job Placement
- Disability Awareness Training and Workshops
- Social Enterprise Services
We recognise the rights of each person with a disability to receive services and will not discriminate on any basis.

What We Stand For
Social Impact and Partners
For individuals to flourish they need to live in communities that are doing the same.

Our History
Time and time again we saw this system fail and knew we had so much more to offer. Research had taught us that the majority of PWD neither receive government pensions nor NDIS, yet this untapped work force was crying out for jobs.
Many people with a physical disability want to work, they are highly skilled and qualified, and they can strengthen the diversity and culture of your team.
In 2022, the EmployAbility you know today, as an independent organisation, began. We are so proud of the progress we have made and the lives we have helped change. Each year our team grows bigger, and our results grow larger. We cannot wait to work with you and help you become the change you want to see in your world.
Background
We are a peak body for people with spinal cord injuries and other neurological conditions and a Disabled Peoples Organisation. A Disabled Peoples Organisation (DPO) is internationally recognised as an organisation where more than 51% of its board and membership is made up of people with a disability.
SCIA continues to passionately support thousands of PWD nationally each year, in fact, the fees associated with our service allow us to sustain our programs.
By working with us, you are literally changing people's lives. It doesn’t get much better than that.
